Course Accreditation

Course Accreditation with ASQA ensures that courses are as per the national standards and serving the needs and requirements of industry.

Course Design Standard

As per ASQA course design requirements, course accreditation will firstly being assessed by checking its acceptability with relevant industry, legislative and community requirements. The courses must be developed in line with industrial requirements and must be validated by industrial experts.

Obligations of Persons in respect of whom courses are accredited

The person in respect of whom a course is accredited must monitor courses as per stated requirements, report any significant changes and informed concern associations about the changes taking place in VET courses. If required, He/She may need to participate in National Strategic Reviews undertaken by VET authority.

Course Classification Information

For course accreditation, course classification information must contain information about the person to whom course is accredited , address, submission, copyright acknowledgement, licensing and franchising, course accreditation body, AVETMISS information, period of accreditation.

Course Information

Course information contain details about name of the qualification,nominal duration of the course, purpose of the course,industry/ enterprise/ community needs, review for re-accreditation, information about course outcome, course rules, delivery, assessments, pathways and on going monitoring.
