RTO Audit

AQSA classify RTO audit into two areas namely registration audit and compliance audit. National RTO Experts will develop a detail strategy in support of operating and compliance policy and procedures in order to meet stated requirements efficiently and effectively. We are providing on going consultancy to RTO’s for new compliance audit initiated from 2017.

Registration Audit

Registration audit is required to validate the scope of registration. It is normally conducted when RTO has applied for initial registration or going for renewal of registration. The registration audit is also conducted when RTO has made changes to the scope of registration.

Compliance Audit

The compliance audit from 2017 has changed. Its now officially termed as student-centered approach. The audit is divided into five stages namely marketing and recruitment; enrolment; support and progression; training and assessment; and completion. The stress on each stage will depend upon the intelligence gathered by Auditing Staff from the initial input received from students.

After Audit

In case of non-compliance, ASQA will provide audit report stating the areas where standards are not met. RTO will have 20 working days to provide additional or amended evidence to show that they are now in 100% compliance. The kind of plenty may be in the form of suspending or placing conditions upon your registration of RTO.

Feedback on Audit

An opportunity will be provided to RTO to give feedback on the audit process. It will help RTO in improving the overall audit process, by that long term consistency can be achieved and served.
